David has built a diverse career at the intersection of movement, health, and rehabilitation. After earning a B.Sc. in Human Kinetics, he worked across prosthetics & orthotics, sports and exercise science, exercise therapy, and yoga instruction—experience that shaped his focus on movement dysfunction and chronic pain. He later completed studies in Osteopathic Manual Practice and is also a Registered Kinesiologist (Ontario), allowing him to deliver a comprehensive approach that integrates osteopathic treatment with exercise and movement therapy.
At Helix Physical Therapy & Massage in Centretown, Ottawa, David helps adults and athletes address issues such as back and neck pain, shoulder and hip dysfunction, repetitive strain, and postural/mobility limitations. His sessions combine hands-on osteopathic techniques (including cranial and visceral approaches where appropriate) with personalized exercise programs to improve mechanics, reduce pain, and support long-term resilience.
Beyond biomechanical care, David’s training enables gentle, whole-person treatment strategies that may help with headaches and migraines, concussion-related symptoms (in collaboration with your healthcare team), and digestive discomfort, always tailored to the individual and grounded in communication, education, and clear goals.
